Glenmore Park stayed rural until the late 1980s, then filled out fast as one of Penrith’s biggest master-planned estates, with the original 1990s streets now joined by larger executive homes further out in Mulgoa Rise. That gives the suburb two fairly distinct generations of housing rather than one, and both turn up in the work I do out this way.
The earliest homes here are now over 30 years old, old enough that it’s worth checking whether the switchboard and safety switches still meet a decent modern standard.
The newer executive homes are a different job again, bigger floor plans that need air con sized properly room by room, plus a lot more interest in EV chargers given the size of the garages out there.
Being this far from the coast, Glenmore Park summers run hot with none of the sea breeze relief closer to the water. Working out of Emu Plains means I’m close enough to get to an urgent job in Glenmore Park quickly rather than waiting on someone from across Sydney. I can help whether that means bringing an older switchboard up to standard or sizing air con and EV charging for a newer build.
