Safety & compliance underpins everything prior, it's not an addon, it's the standard.

Cranebrook is really two suburbs in one, and that split shows up directly in the electrical and air con work. The older pocket around the original Mt Pleasant school dates back to the 1880s, with estates added steadily through the 1980s and 90s; newer streets are still going in near Penrith Lakes today. That age gap means two different jobs, old wiring needing a fresh look versus new floor plans needing the right power and air con from the start, and it’s the kind of mixed-vintage setup I deal with regularly across Penrith.
In the older pockets, that means switchboards and safety switches that are now 30 to 40-plus years old, well past the point where ceramic fuses and a lack of RCDs are worth a second look.
In the newer estates it’s a different conversation: bigger floor plans that suit ducted air conditioning better than a single split, and more people asking about EV chargers and whether their board can handle one.
Either way, Cranebrook needs it. Penrith holds the record for the hottest day ever recorded in the Sydney basin, and being this far from the coast means no sea breeze relief through summer. I’m based just down the road in Emu Plains, so I can usually get out to an urgent job in Cranebrook quickly rather than you waiting on someone coming from across Sydney. I can help with switchboard upgrades, ducted or split systems, or an EV charger, whichever end of Cranebrook you’re in.
