Fault Finding, Repairs and Safety Checks
I handle the everyday electrical problems homes run into: faults, dead circuits, tripping safety switches, damaged points and switches, and repairs after storms. I find the cause first, then fix it, rather than replacing things that are fine.
I also do the safety side: testing and installing safety switches (RCDs), electrical safety inspections, and switchboard health checks. Quick tip you can do now: press the test button on your safety switch. It should trip within a second. If it does not, that is worth a call.

I’m Steve, your local electrician in Penrith. I’ve run Shotskies across Penrith and Western Sydney for ten years, and I do the work myself, so the person who quotes your job is the one who turns up to do it.
Most people don’t know much about electrical work, and there is no reason they should. I will explain what is going on in plain English, tell you what I would do in your shoes, and only recommend what you actually need. If a smaller fix will do, I will say so.
